Description:
The Armistice Trail is a 4-kilometer looped pathway located in Bide Arm, Newfoundland and Labrador. The trail features a combination of natural terrain and boardwalks, making it suitable for various activities such as hiking, birdwatching, and snowshoeing. Along the route, visitors can enjoy several attractions, including bridges, a fishing stage and wharf, and a winter tilt. The trail is ideal for picnics or simply relaxing and enjoying nature. The trail has four different access points and is looped from beginning to end. Some sections of the boardwalk may require maintenance, so visitors are advised to exercise caution. For those interested in camping, Armistice Park, located near the trail, offers RV sites with electrical hookups. A water and dumping station is available approximately 3 kilometers into the town.
