The Discovery Centre in Gros Morne National Park, located in Woody Point, Newfoundland and Labrador, offers visitors a comprehensive introduction to the park's unique geology, ecology, and cultural heritage. Open daily from May 17 to October 20, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., the centre features interactive exhibits, including the "Gros Morne: The Story in Stone," which delves into the geological significance that earned the park its UNESCO World Heritage Site designation. Additionally, the "Miawpukek: The Middle River" exhibition explores the stories and traditions of the Mi'kmaw community of Conne River. Amenities at the centre include a theatre, gift shop, café (take-out only), and outdoor picnic tables. Visitors can also access nearby hiking trails, such as the Lookout Trail, which offers panoramic views of the park and the Tablelands.
